Fete de Geneve & Italian Men
sat, aug 5th - since i had to take it easy after crashing, i stayed in town and checked out some of the Fete de Geneve, a 10 day festival that had just started. on this particular day they were having the Caravane du Monde, a world music parade around the lake, down the Mont Blanc bridge, and ending at Jardin Anglais (remember the flower clock?). think i spent a good hour just listening to music and people watching.
that evening, i went over to my friend leonardo's place for a little italian evening. his friends eugenio, simone, and sandro were visiting from padova (near venice). shown here are L to R: eugenio, natalia, alessandro, and lady.
and are the rest of the italian men i hung out w/that evening. think they called each other to figure out what to wear. from L to R: leonardo, manlio, alessandro, simone, and sandro.
