Long Wknd - Part II

geneva sits on the far western end of Lake Geneva, which splits the city in two. most of my wanderings this wknd was spent on the south half, mostly cuz that's where i live and that was enough ground to cover.

along the south bank (Rive Gauche) is the Jardin Anglais, a big park/garden that features a floral clock at it's entrance.
will try to remember to take another photo when it gets a bit more colorful...

buildings, boats, and walking paths run up and down both sides of the water.

LOTS of boats...

the building in the center in the photo above is the tourist center in geneva. it sits in the middle of one of the bridges that run across the water. i took that photo on my way to a starbucks on the north bank (Rive Droite). i'm not the biggest fan of their coffee, but it's still a little piece of home!
