wed, aug 30th - jackie, friend extraordinaire, kindly arranged a last outing for me on wed night. my idea of a simple evening obviously didn't match up w/his cuz he decided invitations were in order, complete w/embarassing photos (and you people wonder why i hate getting my picture taken)... despite the humiliation that i know that will ensue upon return to the US, it's too funny for me not to post! i was laughing so hard my cheeks hurt for hours afterwards...
started out the evening w/yummy thai food. from L to R around the table: greg, adisa's friend whose name i can't remember, andre, jackie, mike, hsien, alex, adisa, and mita.
in addition to making his invite as memorable as possible, jackie kindly offered prizes and bonus points for anyone who could get a clear shot of my face. needless to say there were several people participating in his challenge, and later at le calamar, they mocked me and my camera fear some more...thanks jackie and mike for arranging dinner and drinks. i had a fabulous time!
