while walking around we saw a group marching against israel. this is the only time i've seen anything remotely close to a mob of people protesting something here... it's a rare moment (at least for me) in such a quiet town.
besides the protest, we did check out the last of the Fete de Geneve. it ends w/fireworks, which according to nancy, are even better than 4th of july in DC.
following the fireworks we made our way to some bars in old town. we walked thru molard, which i've done a million times, but had no idea the cobblestone street actually had lights underneath w/little comments on them. we spent about 20 mins entertaining ourselves...
we did take some time to visit the int'l orgs and the surrounding area including Le Reposoir next to the Chateau de Penthes and the Jardin Botanique.

the most entertaining part of the gardens is the section on health. they have different areas where they grow stuff that's good for you and explain why. this was the display for prostates. not sure how long it took us to stop laughing...
nancy - thanks for visiting! had the best time!to everyone else - i'll see you soon!
