saturday was a LONG day. attended a workshop all day, ran a few errands afterwards, briefly rested my back, and then went out to dinner w/friends. dinner was at Bucas, an uber yummy, basement-level italian restaurant near downtown where they cram in as many people as possible. the walls are littered w/random black and white pictures kinda like grandma's house and everything is served family style, which i luv (read: enormous plates of food + me = happy). eight of us got together to drink some wine, eat some eggplant parmigiana, and catch-up. afterwards we went to Aura, a tiny little bar in uptown for more wine and to meet more friends. my day started at 7:30am and ended around 2am. WHEW!thanks carrie for arranging dinner. had an uber good time!
