last wk was sean and eleni's b-days, which they celebrated over the wknd. these are the 2 that took me in for 2 WEEKS while i looked for an apt upon return from geneva. LUV THEM!
our friend carrie was hosting the party, which happened to land on the same night as a blizzard passing thru. HOW CONVENIENT. but there was no way i was going to miss it -- i had just made all these cupcakes and people were going to eat them!
party was an uber good time. got to hang out w/kelly and joab, 2 of the most entertaining people i never get to see anymore. aren't they cute?!only odd part of the evening was the weirdo named jamie, who apparently is a friend of a friend of carrie's roommate wendy (did you follow all that?). no one really knew him, but he showed up anyways w/o the buffer friend who should've kept him in check. this dude was so obnoxious i wanted to kick him! kinda makes you wonder if people ever realize they're being THAT guy...
rather than kick him out on the street, wendy eventually made him pass out in her room before leaving for her boyfriend's place. she's WAY NICER than me...
thx carrie for the party! hope the weirdo wasn't too bad when you woke up the next morning :)
