for what seems like the longest time, we've been in a bit of a deep freeze. today's high was 9F (~12C), which by all means, a new record considering last wk and over the wknd had highs below 0. and when you add on the wind chill, it really feels like -20F. it's so cold i've been wearing long underwear like it's going out of style. not very sexy, but i don't care! IT'S COLD!!!
yesterday, unbenounced to me, it snowed. didn't get the memo! opened my garage door to find a couple of inches of fluffy white stuff all over the place. it's pretty, but it makes my morning commute that much longer...i need a vacation. spring break is too far off and it doesn't look like we're going to get above freezing for a bit. road trip, anyone?

a trip to geneva sounds in order, dear... it's spring time here, or so the birds think !! we've had a millimeter of snow a couple of weeks ago, and that was our winter !!
