no summer would start right w/o a beauty pagent, right? friend roy hosted his 2nd annual miss universe pagent party (i missed the 1st one cuz i was in geneva). i'm usually NOT one to watch this crap, but really...TALK ABOUT A GOOD TIME! not only was there yummy food and a mexico theme (for those that opted not to watch this year's international cheerleader winners, the pagent took place in Mexico), the company was most excellent...highlight of the evening: watching miss USA fall. quite possibly the funniest thing ever. felt really bad for the woman cuz i'm sure it's one of the more mortifying things that could happen to a beauty pagent participant, but it was still HILARIOUS!
