both my teams lost today 2-1.
such a sad day.
it's the kind of sad that breaks your heart. like when you learn santa is really just some dude w/a fake beard and polyester suit that likes little kids to sit his lap.
the rational side of me feels like i should be happy for ghana since they were the last african team standing and have never made it to the quarterfinals before.
but part of me just doesn't care cuz losing at this point in the world cup SUCKS!
anyways, i'm now cheering for mexico and germany tmrw. i have nothing against argentina (except that they killed korea 4-1), but i feel the need to root for the underdog. and i'm not the biggest germany fan, but rooney kinda scares me.
that is, i'll cheer w/what little voice i have left. there was a lot of screaming at the TV this afternoon...
