One Trip Down, Many More To Go

just got back yesterday from europe, and of course, it was a crazy wk. and it didn't help that i left my laptop battery charger at home...

had mtgs all wk w/partner orgs in london, brussels, and three in geneva.

i'm pooped!

if we weren't in a mtg, we were rushing to the next one. and if we weren't rushing to the next one, it was midnight and we were finally winding down for the evening.

and even tho there was no time to play, i did get to see 1 friend BRIEFLY this wk while he was cooking. who knew you could get YUMMY spicy curry noodles at an irish pub at 10:30pm on a wed night and help an orphanage in kenya all at the same time???

also saw multiple protests (fortunately we weren't around to witness the man that set himself on fire), walked by platform 9 3/4 (for all you harry potter fans), and got to do a little book shopping. even rode thru the chunnel, which is kinda cool when you think about riding under the english channel, but really about as exciting as watching paint dry.

tho after a wk like this one, watching paint dry doesn't seem like such a bad idea...

(top to bottom, L to R: protest at parliament square; protest in front of the UN (see the broken chair leg?); platform 9 3/4 at kings cross; hilarious book cover on display)
