and it comes in avocado green. AREN'T THEY CUTE??? if you can't cope w/work, avoid it by spending money...in other news, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD! today my pa is a year older, and i'm finding our conversations reflect his age. today we had a nice conversation about the number of tractor cabs on the line at work and car tab prices in MN. we also had a lengthy discussion about his uber yummy birthday cake. they celebrated over the wknd, and e + m brought home a carrot cake made by the same woman who did their wedding cake. i'm not sure how many times dad said yummy on the phone. i lost count after 6.
(i'm so my father's daughter: if you put something yummy to eat in front of us, happiness ensues...)
he offered to save me a piece, but since i'm not going to be in MN for a while, i saw no point in making him suffer w/some lone piece sitting in the fridge. that, and it probably would taste more like kimchi than cake by the time i got there.
