my friend josh jacobsen is a total asshole. we don't talk, but when i do see him, he likes to give me shit about a former instructor that keeps emailing me.
said instructor has been perpetually emailing me since we graduated last may, wanting to get together and catch up. that's fine cuz he's a nice guy and a great professional contact, but he's pushy at times and can be borderline creepy. unfortunately, since i'm a chica, i will always have to deal w/trying to maintain that communication balance. my friend, on the other hand, will not cuz he's a dude.
which brings me to my point: don't be an asshole about something that's beyond another person's control. the last email i got from the instructor made me uncomfortable, but my 'friend' decided to be a prick about it and give me shit. i can take crap, but if your going to cross the line and be a complete asshole, i'm going to let you know. which is why when he greeted me at a party last night with "where's your boyfriend xxxx?" i punched him.
(FYI, you use a lot of muscles in your back to punch)
let this be a lesson that you should be a bit more sensitive to the women in your lives. they can't help being chicas and you should be understanding of that. if you're not, you deserved to get punched.
