Cinderella

spent friday night watching the most fabulous production of cinderella. friend darren, aka darebear, was leading the show as artistic director for the 4CT community theater in rockford, mn. there were least 50 people in the production, and half of them were little kids the size of peanuts dressed in sparkles and chiffon. how he managed to organize them is BEYOND me...

they even had little bios on everyone in the program. these were hilarious! from evelyn, age 7:

...she loves all kinds of animals and wants to work w/them when she gets older. she dedicates her performance to her mom and dad.

seriously? she's 7 and she's dedicating her performance? OMG...

or how about jacob, age 14. reading his bio i'm reminded of mullets and t-birds:

...he enjoys playing xbox live and loves bands like metallica, megadeth, and slayer.

and my personal fave is alexander, age 6:

...he is looking forward to 1st grade and spends his spare time planning his ultimate conquering of the world. he goes through hallways at school proclaiming, "short kid coming through, step aside!" and they do.

LOL!

they did such a FANTASTIC job! especially considering darren put it together in just 6 wks. it's moments like these i'm reminded that my talents are limited to just making food and eating it.

bravo darren. muah!
