went out to coffee w/my friend alex on sunday, and the NFL happened to come up. kinda surprised me cuz alex is as german as they come, and here he was claiming to be a cheesehead.alex: the packers are my team! and they're going to win!
me: WHAT??? we're SO not friends anymore...
apparently he spent a month as an exchange student in fond du lac, WI and his host family mistakenly took him to lambeau field for a game. since then, he's been a misguided packer fan. i'm not sure if it was being in small town WI or just an impressionable age, but OBVIOUSLY alex was misguided early on.
...which is why it felt pretty good to get his txt today. tee-hee :)
besides coffee, i had dinner w/a few folks from the Village at le calamar. was lots of fun til the very end when someone took it upon himself to cross the line (jackie - betcha can't guess who???). let's just say you can't follow "i really respect you" w/an unwanted smooch. SERIOUSLY...

didn't have to wipe anything, but i did shove him away from me (wish i wud've kicked him instead!). after snapping at him, shoving him, and clearly stating "WE'RE JUST FRIENDS" he still didn't quite get it so i walked away. i was sooooo mad...
GO PACKERS GO! giants were only lucky this time.
