had a work event that i planned on thurs night that was suppose to end w/an evening dinner and boat cruise on lake minnetonka. normally not an issue, but on this particular day the weather was CRAZY: tornadoes, hail, rain, wind, blah, blah, blah...
bear in mind when you book a boat cruise you really do it at your own risk, i.e. you don't get your money back in the event of cancellation cuz of weather and i used my boss's credit card cuz i didn't want to use mine (it was A LOT of money!).
fortunately, the weather was forgiving and we set sail w/o a hitch. except for the 5 mins where we all had to pile on one side of the boat to keep it from tipping over... sorry, no pics. was going to pull out the camera, but my boss didn't look too impressed w/me when i had to make him stand on the right of the boat while it tried to turn into the wind. oops.
