Atlanta

oh how i miss these donuts!

(obviously my piggy side chomped into it before i thot to take a picture. oops!)

just got back from visiting atlanta for a few days.

i was invited to speak at a recognition dinner for my old boss.

he recently retired and stepped down as board chair for the group i worked with down there.

i was kinda dreading the dinner, but it turned out to be a lot of fun.

my speech went well (i got the most laughs!), and it was nice to catch up with everyone there.

in addition to that, i spent lots of time hanging out katie, aaron, and ronnie, which of course meant lots of yummy eating, drinking, and wandering around...

katie and i also had a nice girls dinner w/our friend (and my former co-worker) karen, who was in town from bangkok.

and of course, there was lots of time w/katie's daughter beanie.

she was nothing short of hilarious the entire time.

the visit reminded me that i don't miss how lonely i was in atlanta, but i do miss some of the people i got to know.
