so i'm in singapore this wk, and like most of my other travel, i haven't gotten to wander around too much on my own.

that said, i have gotten to eat lots of yummy local fare.

for as urban as the area is (at least where i'm at), it has a lot of lush greenery. people are nice, friendly, and all the cabbies know exactly where i want to go. and w/all the yummy food options, i could consider living here.

which may sound novel, but may also require some serious consideration. more and more everyday i'm feeling like i need out of this job and atlanta, so why not move to SE asia?

difficult people and major issues aren't driving this. in fact, i've had very productive meetings here this wk, and have gotten a lot out of them (despite arriving at the hotel 3am Monday after traveling for 23 hours and running again by 9am!).

i think i just came to the decision this week that i'm ready to be done. i took this role w/the understanding that i would get to focus on policy and programs, but the last 8 mos have been anything but. and until new leadership is hired, things are going to remain the same til i leave.

i guess that means i'm leaving, tho i have no clue where i'm going to go.
