i was intending on running away for the wknd, but work got in the way.specifically someone else's work, which i ended up doing all wk so i had to cancel a much needed escape this wknd to catch up on my own stuff.
that said, i tried to salvage the wknd.
there was some shopping...
lots of baking...
plenty of eating...
and of course some toe painting (inspired by m!)...
and dealing w/some crazies here in the dirty south.tho we'll have to save that story for another time...
cuz i have to go to bed. a new wk and conf calls start in 8 hrs!(top to bottom: making caramel sauce for pecan bars, the market at parish, some last minute brownies, croque madame (my sat AM treat), less offensive looking toes, studioplex green market, chocolate espresso heart sandwiches w/dark chocolate ganache)
