Valerie & Jeffy

ended the wk at home at wirth park to attend valerie & jeffy's wedding.

it was so nice!

they had a little ceremony in the wirth park chalet, after which valerie's mom directed us straight to the bar...

valerie and i went to grad school together. our friend ruthie introduced us, and we've been buddies ever since.

if you've ever met valerie, then you know how awesome she is. we've talked about everything from men to school to world poverty to bikini waxes. she is absolutely hilarious!

and i luv jeffy. he's so sweet and gives the best hugs ever. and he doesn't care if i call him jeffy (or at least he doesn't say anything to me!).

favorite part of the wedding: seeing their pics when they were little. WAY TOO CUTE!

funniest part of the wedding: they had these trivia thingys as party favors (what the hell are those things called??? i used to make them all the time in elementary school!) that were pre-printed w/their names and trivia about the happy couple. apparently they had considered monogramming, until they realized w/his last name "arendt" that it would read as VAJ.

(i still can't stop laughing thinking about this. and it's not so much cuz of VAJ itself, as it is roy's face telling the story at the table...lol.)
