swedish guy will just stay as a friend. while he's pretty to look at and we had lots of fun, sarcasm escapes him.
in other news... my friend and old coworker lisa (the one i call jamba juice and who sent the 6pk) came down for a little visit yesterday. it was SO MUCH FUN! she's in town this wk for work, and arrived on an earlier flight monday so we could meet for dinner. we had originally planned on heading to happy hour after she landed, but instead promptly went to the coffee shop below my building to do some work. it sucks being so responsible!
seeing her reminded me that i'm going to be in mpls this wk. will be there friday morning for some appts, out to lunch w/my mentee (i should not be mentoring anyone), and then heading to work for some mtgs. afterwards will be at happy hour w/coworkers, seeing my parents, and then heading to uptown for a few drinks. if you're around, come out!
i'm only in town for the night, and then i head back to the airport saturday AM for a flight to tokyo and ho chi minh city. the group i've been working with is having the equivalent of their board meeting, and it's been a little nutty trying to prepare. will hopefully have more time to post (and sleep and eat and do all the things normal people do during the wk) after these meetings are over. and hopefully that means i'll post about other things in atlanta besides the random men i meet...
