You Are My Sunshine

today i was reminded that i'm going to hell for making fun of people. i can't help it. for example, i momentarily felt bad that one of my former coworkers had a new boyfriend and i didn't. then i realized i don't want one, and hers looks exactly like old school meatloaf.

my targets tend to be strangers and stupid people i encounter (there's a lot of them). there's also politicans, people w/disproportionate body parts, blondes, bad shoes, high school kids dressed for the prom, and mormon missionaries.

and then there's the occasional friend, who has either done something stupid, will dish it back, or is just an easy target. this always makes me think of russ.

when i was in high school i was in an AP English class. one of our group projects was on satire, and my team of 3 chose to write songs and sing them to our class.

please note that i cannot sing for the life of me, and no, i won't for you.

we borrowed tunes from the likes of bob dylan and cat stevens, and changed all the lyrics to make fun of a bunch of stuff. but for some reason the only lyrics i can remember from way-back-when are for a song we did to make fun of our friend russ (sung to the tune of my fav, you are my sunshine):
we know of a guy,
a really sweet guy,
with boyish looks and handsome charms.
the only thing is,
he's a little different:
he shaves his legs, his back, and his arms.
russ and i no longer hang out, but i still make fun of people. can't help it.

I'm right with you, woman. Also, I'm glad you did the hyperlink to meatloaf - I sort of thought that he looked like a really old meatloaf (the kind you eat) and was wondering what exactly that would be.
