after a very late night celebrating a wedding, i got up early the next morning to see friends susan and carl and their 2 babies. they came to the cities this wknd for the twin cities marathon. normally susan would run the 26.2 miles, but since she had twins this summer, carl was running instead.
and talk about a finish! for his first marathon ever, he finished 3:51. and it rained most of the time. unbelievable!(top to bottom, L to R: susan & barbara holding isabella & sam; carl at mile 23)
