sorry for not blogging and responding to emails lately... last wk was uber busy, and the next 2 don't look so hot either. hv been busy w/my capstone cuz we had our big event this wk...
the Pizza Project! was a great success. lots of UofM students, MetroIBA folks, and people we didn't know showed up. had some media coverage and a few for follow-up later. teammate Piyali even convinced a dude from the Asian-American Press to come (shown here interviewing teammates joe and megan above):AAP: hey... this event has nothing to do w/Asian Americans.
Piyali (sounding hopeful while batting her eyelashes): no, but 3 of the 4 team members working on this project are Asian Americans...
AAP: um...OK.
one major event over for this project and only two more to go: a stacy mitchell book event on nov 11th, and a paper and presentation on dec 5th. WOOHOO!!!

I see you were at Snap? I love that place. Their pizza is so tasty!
i know! uber yummy! the owners, gilbert and greg, are awesome guys too. and as we found out in our research, they can even deliver to the UofM while i'm in class! now if only i can convince them to drive to uptown too...
