tnite was happy hour at the red dragon, a fabulous chinese restaurant in uptown and one of my more favorite beverage places to visit. didn't exactly make it to happy hour (i showed up just before 9pm), but i did have some of their yummy drinks (chris is enjoying one here). these things are potent. they say there's booze in it, but you don't taste any of it. and then next thing you know you're on the floor after two... damn punch...
went out tnite cuz my friend jen (blondie featured here chatting w/carrie) is moving to Washington, DC on monday so this will be my last wknd to hang out w/her for a while. she's an uber cool chica i met last year at HHH, and now that she's done w/school she's ready to move on (and out of MN before winter hits...).
posting this photo only cuz it'll be worth her reaction when she sees it (hee-hee!)... captured this moment when jen was moving in for a good-bye hug. it looks like they're making kissy faces, and those here that know her will understand why i find it so entertaining...we're all going out tmrw night for her last big hurrah, and i'm expecting it to be uber fun. there will be booze, dancing (w/o me), and a fabulous gay bar involved. and my mom might come with...
