before leaving atlanta for snowy MN, i went to a work holiday party at the most beautiful house ever.there was lots of food, booze, and desserts. i brought baklava to share.
there was also talk about me staying down there - permanently. i'm exploring the option, but haven't made any final decisions yet. it would be great for my resume if i stuck around for a few years, and winter in atlanta beats sub-zero temps in MN.
that said, it has been a miserable year. the learning curve was pretty steep and i wanted to shoot myself most of the time. as jl put it, go back and read your blog this year. that's the edited public version of how miserable you really were.
i told my bosses i'd think about it, tho not during this holiday break. i'm checked out til jan 4, and i intend on keeping it that way!
