Very Thankful

i don't have any pictures of thanksgiving, which is really too bad cuz i have a lot to be thankful for.

we ate a ridiculous amount of korean food, turkey, and several kinds of beverages (e & m make good beer).

we played board games, watched movies, and went shopping.

and i finally told my parents about my health issues, which means my mother now calls me often to ask how i'm doing, and after hearing my voice, says she feels better and hangs up on me.

only my mother...

and i'm thankful for my health. while not perfect, i'm doing a hell of a lot better than my older brother.

got a call earlier tnite that he was rushed into surgery for a ruptured appendix, blockage in his small intestine, and a bacterial infection.

apparently he's been in a significant amount of pain for the last 4 days, and finally conceded to going to the hospital today. and thank god he did cuz the DRs said there was nothing but dead tissue when they got inside.

i'm thankful he finally met a nice girl who harasses the crap out of him to go to the DR.

and i'm thankful i'm not in india right now (that's another story) so i could receive her phone calls.

and for as bad as the situation was, i'm thankful it wasn't any worse.

so if you have some time, please send some good thots his way. he needs all the help he can get, and i'm sure he'll be thankful for it.
