i'm very excited about the progress i've made, but not as excited about having to take the next step: figure out how to attach the next ball of yarn.
this may be a fedex moment where i overnight this and the other ball of yarn to jenny...
the ups and downs of a little asian woman trying to make it on the other side of the pond...

OMG! It looks great! I'm so proud of you. Just remember, split and spit!
but i don't know how to spit!
what if i spit too much? can i just sprinkle some water on it instead? what if i screw up completely and end up w/a big fuzzy, overly agitated, spitty mess?
woe is me.
hmmm - what will it be in the end? a warm shawl for when you pay a visit to gva this winter? ;-)
i was hoping for a scarf, but it looks like it's just going to be 1 big long fuzzy thing...
and i'll do my best to get to gva this winter so you can judge it for yourself :)
Practice on two pieces of string from your new ball. You'll see, it's as easy as muffins.
And it's more likely to smell like faint traces of kim chee spit than turn into a fuzzy mess :P
