Family Visit
ok, so i'm lazy. it's been a long wk catching up at work cuz last wknd was so nutty...my family arrived last thurs, and it was AWESOME to see them!
friday morning we took a little field trip, and then piled into the ginormous boat of a car (felt like i needed a megaphone to talk to mom and melissa in the back) and headed off to centennial park, which is where CNN, coke world, and the aquarium are also located. we didn't go on any tours, but we did take a few pictures...

spent the rest of the day driving thru atlanta, emory university, and the burbs where all the korean people are. e + m's friend aaron, who's studying at GT, also came out and we got to check out jack's p&w. that place is DE-LISH!
after a sushi lunch on saturday, we spent the rest of the day hiking up stone mountain and walking thru the MLK historic site.
(i have to admit, my parents were rock stars on the climb. seriously, walking uphill on a huge rock is hard on your legs!)after all that running around, we went home and relaxed for a bit before dinner. erick and i went on a beer run, aaron came over again, and mom made me my favorite tofu soup (i know you think i'm nuts, but it's TASTY).and then there was the birthday cake, the conspiracy, and the story that went with...my family is amazing. i'll see them again in late june when we meet up in korea, but i miss them already.(top to bottom, L to R: dad & mom @ MLK; me looking pregnant w/yong & erick; melissa & mom having a conversation w/john s. pemberton, the pharmacist who invented coke; melissa & erick inside the olympic ring fountain; yong & melissa; dad & mom laughing at somebody; melissa & erick in what could be their next xmas card; yong celebrating getting to the top of stone mt.)
