eleni and i the night before i chopped it (thx carrie for taking the pic!). my hair was far enough past my boobs i could tape it down topless and still be covered. (no, there are no pictures of that. perverts.)
this is phillip, hair stylist extraordinaire. HE'S FABULOUS! luv him so much i've been going to him for the last DECADE (literally, since 1997). here he's picking out my new hair cut for me. i asked for something easy. he was looking for something sassy.
after putting my hair in a ponytail and chopping it off, he handed it to me. OMG. it kinda looked like a 3lb rat tail. SO GROSS. and this is going to be a wig???
the ponytail that got lopped off ended up being around 10-11 inches, but i still had hair to spare. unless i bic my head, i will NEVER go bald...
30 mins later after more cutting and some magic, this is what i ended up with. how's that for sassy?it's weird having to actually comb my hair again...
ps - this should be enough picture posting to last some of you a while! :p

it's adorable !! i LOVE it !!! does it feel weird when you move and turn your head ? do you miss the weight of your hair ? and who did you donate your hair to ?
nat, you're my new best friend. LUV YOU! it does feel lighter not having so much hair around (and a little naked!). phillip sends it to a place that does wigs for cancer kids. hopefully they'll take it!
