it's an odd feeling when you realize that all the effort you put into something really doesn't matter cuz some other capable person w/a git-er-done attitude can do it just as well, if not better.
it's official. i've been replaced.
an offer was accepted for the job i chose not to pursue here, and he starts mid-feb.
of course there's still 2 vacancies here, and with the transition to bring the newbie on board, i'll still have plenty to do til my assignment ends at the end of may.
this also means i'll have plenty of time to do things i've been meaning to do since moving to atlanta a year ago like sleep in on the wknds and hang a couple of pictures.
and it'll give me a chance to figure out where i want to end up next. who knows where that'll be!
