someone just came into my office asking me to stay in atlanta.
she said she had heard thru the grapevine that i was debating whether or not to.
she was right. i had been debating.
but i told her i had made my decision.
me: sorry, but i won't be staying.
as much as i think i would benefit professionally from staying in this job for another year or two, i think i've sacrificed enough personal happiness for the sake of my career. it was time to seek out something else.
she smiled and said she completely understood.
her: this makes me think of joseph campbell. you should definitely follow your bliss!
and that's exactly what i intend to do.
