Boat Ride

it seems to be that whenever you attend these wk-long conferences, they feel the need to occupy every moment of your time. after an all day meeting, i had about 20 mins to relax before a 3 hr cruise.

besides more discussions on the bio-availability of NaFeEDTA, i learned:
1) the 3200 acres that comprise stone mountain park was land given to the state of georgia by the KKK. apparently they used to burn crosses on the top...
2) stone mountain itself is the largest piece of exposed granite in the world.
3) the confederate etching on the north face of stone mountain is the largest bas-relief sculpture in the world, featuring stonewall jackson, robert e. lee, and jefferson davis.
4) i don't like boat food.
