spent friday night at amos mcgee's birthday party. this was my 2nd year helping friend charlotte w/the festivities, tho this year my contribution was TINY. after a crazy wk all i did was arrive early w/valerie so we could play sous chefs. chop, chop, chop...
on the other hand, charlotte's workout buddy joanne helped A LOT. she was in charge of the cake and went above and beyond by ordering a GINORMOUS sheet cake that could easily feed 100 people! unfortunately (or fortunately) the bakery screwed up and brought a 2nd cake the exact same size...
as you can see, even after everyone got a piece, we barely put a dent into one cake...
in addition to the yummy cake, it was fun to catch up w/people i hadn't seen in a while.
